Ch. 61 - Christopher's Dinner

Christopher had spent the whole day downtown. He needed a break from Willow and her trash. After spending some time deep in thought, he realized that he needed to face the facts. Jasmine was gone and he'd probably never see her again. He had made a hasty decision when he married Willow, and now he was stuck with her.

He laid his menu down and looked around for his waitress. He didn't see her anywhere, but instead he was amazed to see...

Jasmine! Christopher couldn't believe his eyes! Her hair was a little different, but that had to be Jasmine! Just as he was reaching to pinch himself, she walked out of the restaurant doors. Christopher jumped out of his chair, over the table and ran out to catch her, nearly knocking his waitress over in the process.

Christopher felt like he had lost all control. It was as if his body were on Auto Pilot. Before he knew it, he was at the door blurting out "JASMINE?!"

The slender figure slowly turned around and gazed at Christopher. She took a step forward and replied "Christopher?! Is that really you?"

He was amazed at how quickly she moved towards him, and how tightly he hugged him. If he were dreaming again, he never wanted to wake up.

Then, they both started talking at the same time:
"Where did you...?"
"How did you...?"
"I tried to..."

Jasmine laughed. "You first".

Christopher suddenly found himself with so much to say, but no words were coming out. Finally he was able to ask her if she wanted to come back in for some dinner or dessert.

"Actually I was supposed to meet my friend Zoe here for dinner, but I see she's stood me up. I'd love to have dinner with you", answered Jasmine.

The two went back in, and sat back down at the table that Christopher had started his dinner at. They talked about the weather, about the recent heatwave in Veronaville, and about the latest BananasRRFriends fashions.

Finally Jasmine asked the question...

"So Christopher. Why didn't you ever call me? I mean, I thought we had a great time...didn't we?"

Christopher nearly choked on his food. "I umm...washed your phone number with my jeans." he admitted. He went on to tell her about how he tried to find her through the matchmaking service, but that the number and address they had weren't any good.

"Oh. That." replied Jasmine. "Well see my friend Zoe and I were getting ready to travel around the world and ... well I wasn't expecting to meet someone like you Christopher. That's why I gave you my actual phone number."

Then she said with a wink, "But hey, we can always pick up where we left off, right loverboy?".

Christopher took a big drink and tried to think of a good way to explain everything to her. He took a good, long drink. Nothing came to him.

"Oh boy am I in trouble"

Yup Christopher, you'd better think of something fast. I suggest honesty.

"Uh Jasmine. Wanna go for a ride on my bike?", asks Christopher.

"Heck yeah!" Jasmine replies.

Christopher and Jasmine rode all over town on his Harley. It felt great to ride down the street with her arms wrapped around his waist. It was just like in his dream. He never wanted this night to end, but he realized though that he had a family at home and that he needed to get back to them.

"Jasmine, I think we should sit down and talk" said Christopher.
"I agree", replied Jasmine.

They ended up doing very little talking.

Finally Christopher pulled back and told Jasmine he needed to stop.

"Jasmine, I'm nothing like my father. I can't do this with you unless and until I can be completely faithful to you, and right now I can't do that".

He went on to tell her everything about Willow, his abduction and his two daughters. Jasmine hung on ever word, and when he was done she said "Wow Christopher. You've really blown me away here. I wasn't expecting all of this. I thought I'd come back here and find you single and waiting for me. I guess I was living some fantasy or something. But I understand. You had to move on."

She got up and brushed the leaves and dirt off of her skirt, and asked him to drive her home. The ride home was a somber one for Jasmine. She clung to him tighter then before, thinking she may not have another chance.

Christopher rode home the long way. He had to think of a way to get his emotions under control before he got home. Just when he thought he had it all figured out, he found Jasmine again and now he's more confused then ever! Oh he wished Willow would just get sucked in her stupid trash pile and vanish!

As he climbs off of his bike, he can't help but notice the loud buzzing sound coming from the side of the house. What on earth has that woman done now, he wonders. As he turns the corner, he got the shock of his life when he saw what Willow was actually doing.

"Oh these pesky pesky flies!" Willow complained.

Those were her last words. Willow was a victim of her own trash. She's been buried in the family cemetary next to Quinten McAuley.

Christopher was astonished. First he has a dream of riding his bike with Jasmine, and it comes true. The he has a thought of Willow being eaten up by her trash pile, and he comes home to find it really happening. What is going on? Then it dawns on him...

*chuckling* "Funny how things work out, isn't it?"

"Jasmine baby, here I come!"

Death by flies, how appropriate! And he's now free to have a relationship with Jasmine. She is a playable sim though ... hmm.

What a good turn of events for Christopher, although I do feel a little sorry for Willow. She loved Christopher, but he never loved her in return--and now she died without his love. *sigh* Well, hopefully Christopher will at least find true love now with Jasmine!

Well, I thought maybe Willow would get sick from the trash, but DBF works too. Hopefully, Christopher and his family can be happy now.

I suspected he was going to see Jasmine. But where was she? Oh no! She is definitely interested in Christopher but what is he going to do about Willow? Oh Christopher! That's not talking! Oh no! Poor Christopher. But kudos to him for telling the love of his life he was married to someone else.

You know it is fitting that Willow would be eating by flies. An appropriate end for the Slob.

Oh, I had forgotten that Willow was the one eaten by flies!!! Good timing on that for Christopher! He did seem just a little bit callous, though, being so happy about it, I think! :-)

Well, FINALLY! *settles down to read* Stop talking about the bloody weather, will ya? ASK HER WHERE SHE'S BEEN! Heh, great expression on his face there. *snickers* HA! Willow looks so annoyed there, not scared at all. *snickers even louder* My goodness, things sure worked out well for Christopher. Did he remember to thank you properly, Beans? :-D
