Ch. 58 - Willow Is A Slob
Willow seemed to be settling in to life as a Ridgeway pretty well, except for one thing.
Willow just couldn't help herself and frequently slipped back into her old ways. She was often spotted in town, rummaging through other people's trash cans for anything she could clean up and reuse. Among some of her best finds were:
* One size 10 Nike cross trainer (for the left foot)
* A half eaten banana (perfectly good for making banana bread with)
* An empty tomato soup can (great for holding her bottle cap collection), slightly dented & a bit crusty.
Christopher was having a really hard time dealing with his wife's habits - and with the smell in the house from her post-trash-picking-leftovers.
The whole house was starting to smell and people were starting to complain. Christopher decided it was time to put his foot down. "We are the wealthiest people in town", he told her. "There is no need for you to go digging through other people's trash! The whole house smells bad and people are starting to complain, including the rest of the family. You need to stop this, Willow!" Christopher insisted.
Willow wasn't happy with this news.
"How can he talk to me like that?" she thought, "It wasn't like I did anything wrong."
"I just can't live like this! He just doesn't appreciate how creative I am. I should just...ooooo what is that awful pain?!"
The pain turned out to be a sign that their little daughter, Eliza, was on her way. Eliza was born with her mom's medium complexion, red hair and blue eyes.

A few weeks later, Aiyana/Kim was watching TV with Willow when she was suddenly overcome with the most horrendous odor she'd ever smelled (don't worry she's not pregnant again - this was just before little Molly was born).
"Oh my god, what is that smell?" asked Aiyana/Kim.
"Oops sorry" stated Willow with a giggle in her voice "I let one rip".
"Holy cow Willow! Do something about that, would you?" insisted Aiyana/Kim.
Christopher smelled it too...all the way from their bedroom (where he was cleaning up her trash pile).
"Willow your gas does not smell like flowers" he informed her. "You're grossing everyone out"
Willow was confused. "So...what are you saying exactly Chrissy?"
Christopher just shook his head and walked away to find the air freshener and light some candles. On second thought, lighting candles at that particular point in time may be a bit dangerous - he'd wait to do that until later.

That night, Christopher woke up with a start. What a dream he'd had. Or...was it a dream? It felt so real. He dreamt that Jasmine was his wife, and that Willow was gone. He dreamt of riding his motorcycle with Jasmine on the back, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist. But he knew this couldn't be true - he couldn't find Jasmine!
Christopher ran out to the kitchen, hoping to find that he wasn't dreaming at all. Instead he was greeted with dishes in the sink, and trash spread out all over the kitchen. We won't repeat what Christopher said, but the words weren't pretty.
"Why Willow? Why can't you just clean up after yourself?" he asked his wife.
"Silly Chrissy," she replied, "that's what we have a maid for!"
How could he have not seen this about her. Was he blinded by fear after the abduction? Was he in a rush to marry so that his baby would have a mother? Maybe he was just working too hard now, and needed a day off. Yeah...a day off. He'd take the day off and go into town to spend the day alone. That's what he needed.
Christopher showered, called in sick to work, and told his wife that he'd be spending the day in town. She told him to have fun, then went back to digging through her trash pickings for the day.
On his way out, he saw his father and "mother" cuddling on the couch.
"Oh would you two get a room already?" he sneered. They had a lot of nerve being so happily married while he was so miserable.
Christopher had a good day in town. He went to his favorite book store and got the latest John Grisham book. He bought a few new outfits and even got some gifts for his two daughters.
Christopher spent the rest of the day sitting by the lake deep in thought. He wondered where Jasmine was and what she was doing right now. He wondered if some other lucky guy got to hold her and kiss her. Then he shook his head, and told himself to put her out of his mind. He made the decision to marry Willow, and he had to stick with her even if she was a little gross at times. He had children to think about now.
It had been a long day and Christopher was getting hungry. He wasn't going to stop before going home, but he always wanted to try this new restaurant in town. They were his biggest competition and he wanted to see just how good their chef really was. Just as Christopher was getting ready to order, he glanced up to see if the waitress was around. Instead he saw...

Jasmine!
Oh well Willow can fall into a ladderless pool and Chrissy LOL can have Jasmine for his wife :)
Instead he saw...what? Who? Jasmine? Is Willow going to have an "accident" to free Chris up for Jasmine? Or will Jasmine become Chris' mistress? Or will he divorce Willow? Argh! You can't leave us like that!
Neat-o
A cliffhanger, cool! Can't wait to see who he met in the restaurant. :)
Awww, Willow your slobby ways are going to get you into trouble! Awww, Eliza is a cutie! Hopefully she didn't inherit her mother's sloppy ways. Oh no. Things are going downhill fast for Willow and "Crissy".
GAH! Who did he see? Was it Jasmine? Was it Willow having and affair? Who? Who? WHO?
I bet it was Jasmine. Maybe Willow will contract a disease from rooting around in trashcans all the time.
OMG! Willow needs to be introduced to the Cowplant. I know some people. I can arrange it. Mn ... why can't they just be happy being alone! If I can do it ... so can they! :Op Now ... who is it that he looked up to see? Jasmine???
Oh, I bet I know who he's going to see!!! :-) LOVE the look on Willow's face after she's done "her thing" and Kim is grossed out!!! So perfect! And great creative use of the "no flowers" speech bubble, ha ha!!! Flaming piano for Willow perhaps???
Wow, your Slob is way worse than mine was. Rummaging through the trash and everything. *shivers* Eliza is a cutie! Heh, you sure she's not blonde underneath that red hair? He saw....????? He saw what?!?
