Ch. 49 - Roderick, the Mad Scientist

Roderick always missed his dear wife, Kimberly. He felt completely responsible for her attempted suicide, as well as for her death and he was determined to bring her back - one way or another.

Unfortunately, none of Roderick's "tinkerings" (as Kimberly used to call them) ever worked. He just couldn't get past the stage of re-animation. He could get a person's soul into the plant, and get the plant to come to life, but couldn't figure out how to get the person's soul back out of the plant and into a ...

Hey. Wait a minute.

Roderick had an idea. He just needed a willing vict...err...volunteer. He knew just where to get one.

He always thought Aiyana Dallas (the Amelia-ized maid) was particularly pretty. She was about the same build as Kimberly. Yes yes, she'd definitely work.

A little smooth talking & some big promises were all it took for Aiyana to agree to do whatever Roderick wanted her to do.

Aiyana had been in love with Roderick since she had first started working for him. She couldn't believe that THE Roderick Ridgeway was professing his love for her! Could she be dreaming? If she was, she never wanted to wake up!

Roderick had her come up to the attic and slip into a nightgown.

"Ooo Roderick. This is kinda kinky - getting it on in your lab. But...I don't see a bed anywhere. Not even anything soft. It's all cold concrete."

Roderick just touched her cheek and replied "Don't worry Dear. This won't hurt a bit".

Aiyana shrugged her shoulders and said "Well. OK, although I can't imagine my back won't be a little sore afterwards..."

"Hold very still, Dear", said Roderick.

"Hehe! Ok!", and Aiyana closed her eyes.

As Aiyana closed her eyes, Roderick threw the switch. The room was flooded with the most brilliant light that Roderick had ever seen.

Aiyana's body started to twitch and jerk. Roderick wasn't sure if it was working, but he kept the faith and continued the process, all the while praying to himself that this time, it would work. Finally, it was done. Aiyana's body stood still. When the smoke cleared, he was stunned at what he saw...

Kimberly was standing before him. It had worked! Kimberly was back! She was as beautiful as ever. Roderick couldn't believe his eyes. He had finally done it! Right down to her hair - there she was!

Maybe he was imagining this...maybe he was going crazy. He rubbed his eyes and looked again. She was still there. Holy Mama of the Llamas, she was back!

"Roddy? Where am I?" asked Kim

"Oh Heavens it's really you!" exclaimed Roderick.

They stood together for a minute just gazing at each other, touching each other, holding each other and kissing each other. It felt so good to be back together again. After they were done, there were only two things to do:


#1 : Get married again. This time under the name of Aiyana Dallas (since she can't very well tell anyone she's really Kimberly!)


#2: Well anyone that knows Roderick and Kimberly know what they're getting ready to do!

(Aiyana/Kimberly is a Family sim with a LTW to marry off 6 children. She is an Aquarius: Neat 6, Shy 2, Active 10, Serious 5 and Grouchy 2)
